BVA Planning was established to provide clients with a commercially focused & refreshing approach to planning and development consultancy.
Bhavash has over 20 years of experience in the planning and development industry, starting at Wokingham BC, before moving into the private sector. Prior to establishing the firm Bhavash worked for major property and design companies in London and the south east including Strutt & Parker, Gerald Eve, Broadway Malyan and Barton Willmore.
BVA focuses on planning consultancy covering a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, public bodies and charities. Clients include private landowners, property funds, national and regional housebuilders, educational establishments, and land promoters across the UK.

Bhavash Vashi BA (HONS) MA MRTPI
Bhavash has over 20 years of experience in the planning and development industry. He began his planning career at Wokingham BC, before moving into the private sector working for major property and design companies in London and the south-east including Strutt & Parker, Gerald Eve, Broadway Malyan and Barton Willmore. Bhavash’s expertise covers all planning related matters from residential, commercial and mix-use schemes, and acting as an expert witness at planning appeals.

Elaine Vashi BSc (HONS)
Elaine has 15 years of experience in the planning and development industry. Having spent over 8 years working for a major housebuilder – Bloor Homes – she has extensive knowledge of how developments work from a commercial perspective and has dealt with a number of planning applications, appeals and local plan promotions throughout the south-east and south-west. Elaine is also a qualified Nutritional Therapist.
